EXPERIENTIAL GROUP FACILITATION FOR ACTORS

Psychologically Informed Performance Work (Non-Therapy)

These workshops are not psychotherapy and do not involve diagnosis or clinical treatment.

Experiential Workshops for Actors

Dr. Luke Rex, Psy.D. is a SAG-AFTRA member and licensed clinical psychologist who facilitates experiential workshops designed to help actors move through creative, emotional, and performance-related blocks.

The work is time-limited and skills-based, integrating experiential methods with actor training approaches informed by Meisner, Practical Aesthetics, and elements of the Method. The focus is on deepening emotional access, presence, and performance flexibility within a structured, professionally guided environment.

Separate from this offering, Dr. Rex also provides ongoing experiential group therapy under formal clinical agreement for individuals seeking deeper, process-oriented psychological work. Participation in therapy is optional and distinct from workshop facilitation.

Dr. Rex trained at The Sydney Acting School and The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, and taught at The Young Actors Studio in North Hollywood for seven years. He earned his B.A. in Psychology (Theatre minor) from UCLA, followed by an M.A. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University.
