Dr. Rex brings extensive experience as a group leader and facilitator for both adolescents and adults, having led more than 4,000 groups across outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial-hospitalization, and residential treatment settings. This includes his impactful work at Friendly House, Los Angeles’ oldest residential treatment center for women in recovery.
His groups draw on a unique blend of psychodrama, improvisation, mindfulness, drama therapy, and emotion-focused work, while also integrating elements from modern acting techniques such as Stanislavski, Meisner, and Strasberg. This creative and dynamic approach has supported hundreds of individuals in exploring emotions, deepening self-awareness, and finding new ways to connect, heal, and grow.
Please note that Dr. Rex's group therapy work requires a 12-week commitment.
